A new queen has been crowned.
The glittering ballroom of the Imperial Hotel on the Gold Coast transformed into a royal court on Saturday night as Gabriella Oxley — affectionately known as Ellie — was crowned Miss Grand Australia 2025. Ellie is no stranger to the spotlight; she was runner-up at the recent Miss World Australia 2024 final last year. But this time, she claimed the crown — to thunderous applause and a wave of support from her family and fellow finalists, including Miss World Australia winner Jasmine Stringer and MWA finalist Chloe Herdy, both present to cheer her on.
The night was more than just a pageant — it was a spectacle of beauty, poise, and precision. With choreographed group performances, high-energy segments, and powerful Q&As, the show delivered a world-class experience. Contestants sparkled across every segment, from the swimwear parade to the breathtaking evening gowns, and into the final question round — where Ellie sealed her win with elegance and composure. Jade Hyle was named runner-up, impressing the judges and crowd alike with her poise and confidence.
The grandeur extended far beyond the stage. The seated dinner and red carpet looked straight out of a royal ball — a tsunami of tiaras, glittering gowns, and diamond-crusted crowns filled the room.
