Brisbane illuminated with vibrant energy on 19 September for Brazil Fashion Day, part of Brazil Week 2025 — a celebration of Brazilian fashion, culture, and artistry that resonated long after the final model walked the runway. Hosted at The Hills of Rivermakers in Morningside, the event blended tropical prints, rich craftsmanship, and bold design statements, offering audiences a catwalk like never before.
From 5pm, fashion lovers gathered under sunset skies, greeted by a dynamic lineup of pop-ups, art installations and a “Beauty Bar” where guests could freshen up before the show. As runway time struck at 7pm, designers took stage with collections inspired by the Amazon’s mood — lush textures, saturated hues, daring cuts, and natural fabrics that spoke of sustainability and bold identity.
The show wasn’t just about style—it was immersive. The event fused high fashion with cultural storytelling: through lighting, music, and design the evening evoked both Brazil’s pure flamboyance and its deep ties to nature.
