Fashion Meets Motorsport Glamour on Hastings Street
‘Fashion on Concours’ brings luxe style, golden hour light, and a vintage Brabham to Noosa’s beachfront runway
Noosa's most fashionable beachside moment arrived in style with Fashion on Concours, an exclusive runway event produced by Fashion Queensland held as part of the prestigious Noosa Concours d’Elegance. Nestled at the foot of the Sebel’s grand staircase beside Aromas, the makeshift catwalk transformed Hastings Street into a sunset-drenched fashion haven, watched by a buzzing crowd and more than 70 VIP guests.
Set against the soft roar of supercars and a sea of admiring onlookers, the runway featured some of the Sunshine Coast’s most beautiful local models, all styled in curated looks from a lineup of standout Australian designers. From breezy coastal chic to après-ski edge, the showcase reflected the diverse, evolving identity of contemporary resort wear.
The featured designers included:
- It’s a Fad by Sara Leonardi – modern silhouettes with bold flair
- Wacker Clothing Company – classic cuts with heritage appeal
- Little Cove Collective – effortless coastal styling
- Boom Shankar – signature colour and eclectic prints
- Husk – refined bohemian luxury
- Snowscene – the show’s dynamic closer with a winter-inspired ski capsule
In an unforgettable twist, the end of the runway wrapped around a striking 1968 Brabham BT23 Tasman Race Car, adding retro motor racing glam to the scene and connecting fashion to the spirit of the Noosa Concours.
Seated VIP guests were treated to champagne, canapés, and stylish gift bags, while Brisbane-based influencers and fashion insiders soaked up the sunlit spectacle. The golden hour lighting, combined with the palm-lined backdrop and crowd energy, created a runway experience unlike any other on the Australian fashion calendar.
